The Ungodly book-signing tour got off to a splendid start Thursday in Macon. The stream of customers was steady but slow enough for me to chat with some very interesting folks. Two people mentioned in the book came to buy copies, including a former chairman of the Putnam County Commission who was in the thick of the zoning battles with the Nuwaubians. Also, a book was purchased for the federal judge who presided over York's trial. It was gratifying for me to see people who shared their stories with me express strongly positive reactions to the book. The highlight of the signing was the appearance of a woman who was a close friend of Flannery O'Connor's. She thought the passages about O'Connor and the other literary lions of the region, Alice Walker and Joel Chandler Harris, were handled well. She is also related to the people who bought the Tama-Re property from the federal government, after it was confiscated due to York's racketeering conviction. She told me of the massive job of disposing of the tons and tons of concrete York poured for his Egyptian theme park, and of the massive landfill fees that had to be paid. I inscribed one of the books she purchased, To the destroyer of Tama-Re Also Thursday in Macon, a small group of Nuwaubian loyalists picketed City Hall, continuing to protest York's conviction. I made a serious effort in the book to interview former cult members in order to understand the motivations of the people who joined. They spoke of a legitimate desire to be part of a community where blacks could live as they chose. However, at this stage of the game, the logic of the protesters totally eludes me, and I have no desire to make the effort to understand them. I can have a dialogue with just about anybody, but I draw the line at trying to deal with people who will try to defend York, a convicted child molester of epic proportions. And please, don't give me that conspiracy argument. I've talked to the victims. I know they were telling the truth. To depict them as part of a conspiracy is both ridiculous and demeaning, not to mention a form of continuing exploitation. The Nuwaubian protesters were smart enough, though, to realize that picketing the signing would only bring more attention to the book. So, we were actually somewhat disappointed that they didn't show up. There was, however, a guy with a Free York tee shirt lurking by his lonesome self in the parking lot of the bookstore. Once I started reading Ungodly, I could not stop until I finished the entire book. As an African-American female who recently relocated here from South Florida, York parallels South Florida's 'Black Messiah', self-proclaimed Yahweh Ben Yahweh. The only difference that I see between the twois that I never heard of child molestations with the Yahweh cult. The amassing of wealth from cult members by confiscating properties, assets, and possessions to controlling, separation of family, the race card, political praises (even having the Miami Mayor proclaim 'Yahweh Ben Yahweh' Day...they are so similar. It's sad for people to search for a sense of belonging, or identity and then be exploited. This story is disgusted but I'm very glad you told it. Actually, I never heard about this until the article appeared in the paper promoting the book. So sad. What's sadder is the Black 'leaders' who love to play the race card for so call injustices but when the injustices are Black on Black, the 'leaders' are no longer vocal. An injustice is just that..an injustice, regardless of color. A 'leader' stands for justice and equality regardless of color and with no sense of personal gain.
You have no business promoting this book like you are. So many of the key witnesses have come forth exposing that this was a personal issue that got out of hand. There are so many inaccuracies in your story it's laughable. But it's not funny when your playing with lives.
If York is indeed guilty then he never deserves to be free again. But to not allow a re-trail at this point is simply wicked. What you are doing is quite wrong sir.
I am not a follower of Malachi York, I am a white man who became interested in this probably for the same reasons you did. And this bias and assumption is not ok.
This book is an extreme case of profiting off of others misfortune, why is the only book you've ever written about something you know nothing about? It's so shameful. I do not wish that you fail at promoting your dirty book. I just hope that you can take an unbiased look at the truth and help us come to a conclusion on what the truth really is. I have no sympathy for that man if he is guilty, but we cannot assume that at this point in the case by any means. Please, i sincerely as that you take another look at the situation and re-evaluate your stance.

That video on youtube looks like it was shot in someone's backyard. If that was a "major" news event I didn't see it on television... and if it is, the station needs to get something other than a $300 hand held video camera to film it. I even searched the Telegraph's archives and couldn't find it.
So come on! You guys can do better than that. Use some of the money that man extorted to buy better equipment next time.

The intent of the book is funny. But it's effect are counter-intuitive. The more you research York, the more you find that he helped people. If you listen to his lectures, he is speaking of many uplifting subjects. It behooves those of all races to learn of their past history. It helps the current civilization and well as future generations. I think the purpose and cause of the book would have been better served if it were never published, because now there are two sides of the story. York's side has names and accounts that can be vouched for...Osinski's side, for fear of libel, has none. No testimony, no motions mentioned, no background of the judges and lawyers and their intent. It is foolish to write a book about an event that has not finished, once again showing the intent of the book. I'm certain none of the victims and their relatives and/or associates praised or even bought the book. So the audience would have to be the general public. So now they have two sides to deal with. One account is firsthand, the other vicarious (Osinski). It comes down to dealing with facts against what you want to believe. If all the facts are laid in front of a person, they would have to think there is a conspiracy against York.

This was an excellent book, and anyone who was affiliated, or a member that used to go up regularly to help build the pyramids,know the hardships the dwellers face, and some of us literally fed the brothers up there, but didn't know the story as to why. We all saw the girls around him, and the kids, but figured he was doing the women, but not kids. Bravo to Sherriff Sills, we all know there was no more racism out there, than any other anywhere in the south. He said to stay out his bedroom for a reason. The true Black Devil is the one that makes evil fair seeming, and downs all the other black leaders breaking them down, and building themselves up.
This book is well written however, it is not completely honest and or factual. I have been to the land and it was beautiful. Both whites and blacks were there York was there and the children look fine...(I work with abused children) and I also know there are no minors in the case and 8 out of the thirteen victims say it didn't happen... I don't know about conspiracy but LIES sound about right ...in doing my own research I have noticed that there was no evidence in the case, then on top of that you don't have both sides of the story in your book, doesn't MAKE IT automatically biased so ... I 'd like to say in all honesty you seem like guy exploiting supposed victims more than a book writer...one of the said victims even recanted her statement _Habibah Washington ( its on you tube)so why has the case never been tried isn't this still America and why do those catholic priest abuse children and not get put up on RICO charges what about truth justice and the American way I am an American and white or not York Is TOO I don't like to see injustice they should open the case and the transcripts ( which are strangely closed I might add ) but good luck with your career Olinski.!!!

Jacob York is responsible for the career of Lil' Kim, whose first album was called "Hardcore". If you look on the back of the album you will see Executive Producer - Jacob York. Keep in mind that Jacob's legal name is Yacuwb Abdullah Muhammad, yet he insists on using the name "York" like his father. This is because Malachi York is well known in the music industry and was very instrumental with many hit songs that we all love to this day. Lil Kim's song titles include: "Drugs" "Big Momma Thang" "Queen B**" and more; all with x rated explicit lyrics. Lil' Kim was recently brought up on charges of perjury and obstruction of justice. She is accused of lying to the grand jury involving a shooting incident. Does this sound familiar? Of course it does. One of the prosecution's witness for the trial against Malachi York testified in court that she lied to the grand jury and this can be found in the transcripts coming out of her own mouth when asked a question about the 302, which is a statement for the government and she got caught in the lie and said ( ). Jacob is the one responsible for altering the NBA logo to depict a young man holding a gun. That's a tough guy role so why are you hiding Mr. Tough Guy? Why are you letting the same system that you spoke about control your mind and our destiny? Step up to the plate like a man.
After the NBA logo was altered for the Rap Artist Cameron, Jacob was sued by the NBA. Jacob is also responsible for Junior M.A.F.I.A.'s first album entitled "Conspiracy" (how ironic). If you take a look at these rap groups that Jacob financed and supported and listen to the lyrics of their songs, it’s no surprise how he can come up with elaberate pornographic stories and child molestation.
Jacob hated his father for not being there to support his efforts in his music career. Mr. York is against the exploitation of young men & women and degrading music; thus he would not support such a thing. Jacob also believes that his father is somehow responsible for his mother's death (may God rest her soul). Jacob's mother died of a Brain Aneurism which runs in her family. Her father and her older brother both died of Brain Aneurisms. Malachi York and Jacob York’s mother had been separated for over 25 years. They did not even see each other, nor come in contact with each other. Mr. York heard about her death, and called Jacob York. It was at that time that Jacob York called his father names, cursed at him, threatened to kill him, and accused him of being responsible for her death. Mr. York understood that Jacob must have been very upset regarding the death of his mother. Mr. York covered all the expenses for the funeral out of his care and concern. This was ignored and Jake continues to hate his father.
Jacob went on to live the fast life of money, sex, drugs, and criminal activity. Jacob is the one guilty of all of the crimes that his father Malachi York is being accused of. Jacob is known as a child molester. There is an FBI report where a female who identified herself as "BUD" told the FBI that Jacob molested her child. This was never investigated by the FBI. Jacob traveled across state lines with minors and adults from Georgia to Florida with the intent to engage in sexual acts and to encourage minors to have sex with others. Farah Muhammad, who had just turned 17 at the time, is the victim of Jacob York's advances and fondling. She comes forward and tells her story and is willing to testify. Jacob recruited disgruntled ex-members of the community in order to come up with the plot involving child molestation to bring Malachi York down. He chose child molestation because he stated that child molestation is easy to charge someone with and the hardest to defend. Jake stated that it would be believable because he knew that there were women and children living on the land. Thus he started his campaign to recruit ex-female members that eventually moved in with him which he had sexual relationships with. Jacob purchased a house in Stone Mountain Georgia along with Barbara Noel, (the mother of Nicole Lopez, Amanda and David Noel) where they all lived. It was at this house where they all conspired and plotted the false testimony of molestation. Jacob sponsored a trip to South Beach Florida where he invited several disgruntled ex-members under the disguise of a reunion trip. The agents told Jake to sponsor a trip to South Beach Florida and they paid for it. Once down in Florida, Jacob was told to bring up casual conversation of child molestation and money and how much money they could get if they would say they were molested by Mr. York and to discuss the conspiracy against his father. Some of the women and men that Jake initially tried to recruit and even took on the South Beach trip did not go along with the conspiracy. Others were coerced and even threatened by Jake to go along with the plot. Here are their stories. Read very closely and you will see without question that Malachi York was set up. My name is Farah Muhammad, I have a story to tell. I was there when Jake York and others conspired against Dr. Malachi Z. York. I was born on January 22, 1984. I am 19 years old. I want the truth to be known. In the summer of the year 2000 Tamara “Habiyba” Foreman, Nichole “Adah” Lopez, Arlene “Kariymah” Hamilton, Sarah “Shababa”, Qamra Muhammad, and I lived at my father’s house in Stone Mountain, Georgia. Istiyr Cole also frequently visited our home during this time. While at my fathers home Adah who was 23 years old at the time, was in a sexual relationship with my 15 year old brother Kuwsh Muhammad-Martinez. On one occasion I walked in the bathroom at my fathers’ home late at night and saw them having sex. All of the young ladies with the exception of Qamra and Tamara “Habiyba” Forman moved from our house to Jacob’s ( known as Jacob York) house in Stone Mountain, Georgia in the winter of 2000 where Barbara Noel was also residing.
In the spring of 2001 I was at Istiyr’s apartment and witnessed Lemuel LaRoche, Bruce “Baith” Smith Jr., and Ahmed Smith approach Istiyr and her sister Deena Cole about saying that they were molested by Malachi York and to say that they had seen others being molested by Malachi York. They said no because they were never molested by Malachi York and that they never saw anyone being molested.

Also in May of 2001 A.D., Jacob invited me on a trip to Florida that he planned for Memorial Day weekend. He told me that a lot of people that I knew were going on the trip. He named Habibah “Abigail” Washington, Arlene “Karima” Hamilton, Istyr Cole, Tatiana “Atiyah” Thomas, Nicole Lopez, and Farah Muhammad. Jake told me to come along with them and maybe I would change my mind. I didn’t go on the trip and I stopped communicating with Jacob. He told me to choose his world or Dr. York’s world. I chose Dr. York’s world, the world of the truth.
In May of 2002 A.D., I learned that Dr. York and his wife Kathy Johnson York were arrested on child molestation charges. I was shocked at first but then I knew how it came about from my conversations with Jacob.
In January 2004 A.D. at the trial of Dr. Malachi York, I was a defense witness willing to testify to the facts about the conspiracy to bring Dr. York down. My testimony was blocked by Judge C. Ashley Royal. I was called into the courtroom to give my testimony to Judge Royal without the jurors present. Judge Royal then told me that 90% of my testimony would not be allowed in the court. I was not allowed to talk about the conversations between Jacob and myself. My testimony was very limited.
My father, Dr. Malachi York is innocent of all charges. I have personally witnessed the conspiracy that was set up by Jacob York. I was approached by Jacob himself. I did not go along with the plot and I cut off all ties to Jacob. I am willing to give my testimony in court. Malachi York should be acquitted of the charges against him and released immediately. Yeah...let's give york props for him making a lot of people read a book, and he did put something of substance in them, that even a third grader could "innerstand"! Even when he knew that his actions were bound to to catch up with him, he switched to the "masonic" hoping to have some legal leverage, he even donated a whopping $20,000 to ATL children fund, and started handing out x-mas gifts in town for the children, etc. He even immersed 'his' people in full Egyptologism, up with pyramids and pylons and costumed "ceremonies" during zed festival and all!

Most people would not see me as being trapped in a cult. I am. I am a mother and grandmother that is controled by a group of 9 old men. They tell me what I should think say and do. I just found out about the book written by Bill Osinski concerning Dwight York. I finished reading it in two days and could not put it down.
The book was very well written. I believe that York is guilty as charged. Let me tell you why!
Around the time that the York trials hit the news, I had the opportunity to listen to many lectures concerning the true character of this man. The evidence that I was presented with convinced me beyond a shadow of a doubt that he was a fraud and a predator.
In addition, I had the benefit of life experience in dealing with cults. You see, there was a similar cult that operated in my town. I was almost brainwashed into joining that cult.
They, too, preached communal living, giving all of your valuables and property to the cult, strict vegetarian diet, etc.
I got a chance to see up close and personal that only the leaders of the cult were benefiting off of everyone else's hard work.
Luckily, I had some good friends that gave me the truth about this group, and stopped me from making the worst mistake of my life.
I'm not surprised at the intense loyalty that York still commands of his followers.
Like the local cult that almost snagged me, you couldn't tell the "Doe Doe Birds" in the group they were being used and abused.
They were so happy to be brainwashed. The arrogance that the members had was almost sickening. The actually believed they were God's chosen flock. Everyone else outside of the group were losers, according to them.
I know for a fact that this cult group also kicked out members after they obtained all of their valuables from them.
I was able to attend the "teachings" for about four months.
I was then told by the exalted leader, that I would be required to turn over my cute little house to the organization. (I had mistakenly invited one of the brainwashed members over to my house for dinner, and they went back bragging that my house would be a perfect addition to the organization.)
I was then informed that in order to fully be admitted into the cult, I would have to move into one of the communal houses.
I vehemently protested that I did not see the beauty in moving into a house with twenty people.
I was then told by the leader that I was cursed by God, and would be condemned to live my life in damnation.
Oh, by the way, don't come back to the "teachings", until I'm ready to comply with moving into the commune.
After careful deliberation, I decided that I would rather be condemned to hell, then to move in a house with a bunch of hoodlums masquerading as religious leaders.
I never went back to that cult group ever again.
May Dwight York burn in jail for the rest of his life.
